Basketball Game Preview: Water Canyon Wildcats vs. South Sevier Rams

Water Canyon is 0-3 against South Sevier since December of 2023 but things could change on Wednesday. The Water Canyon Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the South Sevier Rams at 5:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Water Canyon is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Friday. The game between them and Enterprise didn't end well, with Water Canyon falling 62-44.

Meanwhile, South Sevier unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 60-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kanab.

Water Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for South Sevier, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-4.

Water Canyon took a serious blow against South Sevier when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 70-34. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Water Canyon was down 43-13.
