Recap: Trivium Prep Crimson Knights vs. San Pasqual Valley Warriors
The Trivium Prep Crimson Knights won the last time they faced the San Pasqual Valley Warriors, and things went their way on Friday too. Trivium Prep claimed a resounding 76-12 win over San Pasqual Valley on the road. Given Trivium Prep's advantage in MaxPreps's football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 174th in Arizona, while San Pasqual Valley is ranked 1037th in California), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Leading Trivium Prep to victory were Cruz Ramirez and Vern Wolfley. Ramirez rushed for 127 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, while Wolfley rushed for 91 yards and three touchdowns. Matthew Lee also helped out with an impressive 85 receiving yards.
Trivium Prep's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for San Pasqual Valley, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trivium Prep will take on Antelope at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for San Pasqual Valley, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Parker at 7:00 p.m. Parker will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
