Softball Recap: East Central Trojans vs. Whiteland Warriors

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact East Central can now relate to. They fell just short of the Whiteland Warriors by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The Trojans' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Paige Hotze spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on eight hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.
