Softball Game Preview: Fallbrook Warriors vs. Westview Wolverines

Fallbrook hasn't had much luck against Westview recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. Fallbrook is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Fallbrook came up short against Valley Center and fell 8-5.

Fallbrook saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alicia Sorden, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Olivia Castillo was another, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in March, Westview was forced to settle for a draw on Wednesday. They and Imperial finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Fallbrook now has a losing record of 7-8. Westview's draw gives them a new season record of 11-4-2.

Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Fallbrook has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.4 hits per game. However, it's not like Westview struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
