Hamilton/Warsaw posted their closest win since September 6th on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Seymour Indians. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Titans as it put an end to their five-match losing streak.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Hamilton/Warsaw got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-14, 21-25, 25-8.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hamilton/Warsaw to victory, but perhaps none more so than Millie Harness, who had three aces and two blocks. The dominant performance also gave Harness a new career-high in assists (30). Another player making a difference was Jadyn Climer, who had eight kills, eight blocks, four digs, and two aces.

Despite the loss, Seymour saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tori Hugenberg had ten digs and three assists.

Hamilton/Warsaw's record now sits at 8-11. As for Seymour, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-18.

Looking ahead, Hamilton/Warsaw will challenge Mendon Unity at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seymour, they will take on Barry Western at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
