Basketball Recap: Mt. Lebanon Takes a Loss

Mt. Lebanon and Governor Mifflin squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Mt. Lebanon had to settle for second. They took a 66-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Governor Mifflin Mustangs. The Blue Devils have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Mt. Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Governor Mifflin, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.

Mt. Lebanon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Governor Mifflin, they will face off against Upper St. Clair on Wednesday. Upper St. Clair knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Governor Mifflin likes a good challenge.
