Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Concordia). In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 61-60 win over the Knob Noster Panthers. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Fighting Orioles as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Concordia's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Knob Noster, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Concordia will venture away from home to face off against Wellington-Napoleon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: Wellington-Napoleon has lost four straight at home , while Concordia has lost six on the road (dating back to last season). As for Knob Noster, they will head out to square off against Lexington at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Lexington knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Knob Noster likes a good challenge.
