The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Grant Cook and Jacob Mekdeci. Cook had a solid game and went 8 of 13 on his way to 19 points along with six boards and three steals. Meanwhile, Mekdeci did his best for the losing side, putting up three points and nine assists.

Keswick Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Canterbury, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
