Greenfield and Franklin County Tech are an even 4-4 against one another since October of 2016, but not for long. The Green Wave will host the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Greenfield will be strutting in after a victory while Franklin County Tech will be coming in after a defeat.

Greenfield headed into their last matchup having not scored more than 13 points for three straight, but Palmer let them put that streak behind them. The Green Wave were the clear victors by a 32-6 margin over the Panthers on Friday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Green Wave's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, Franklin County Tech came up short against Ware on Friday and fell 27-14. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Franklin County Tech's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Greenfield, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Greenfield was dealt a bruising 38-8 defeat at the hands of Franklin County Tech when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Green Wave, Josiah Little (who rushed for 193 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.0 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
