There's no place like home for Loyola Blakefield, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They strolled past the Concordia Prep Saints with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 33-16. The Dons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Saints, too.

Loyola Blakefield found their leader in sophomore Carlos Spencer, who threw for 280 yards and three TDs while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt. Carston Brown was Spencer's top target, picking up 102 receiving yards and one score.

Loyola Blakefield now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Concordia Prep, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coming up, Loyola Blakefield will head out to challenge Gilman at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Concordia Prep, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Archbishop Spalding at 1:00 p.m. on October 11.
