Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Mesa). They blew past the Rio Grande Ravens 86-36 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Rio Grande lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Mateo Gonzalez, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. The game was his third in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sebastian Vicu?a, who posted four points.

The win made it two in a row for West Mesa and bumps their season record up to 14-9. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.5 points over those games. As for Rio Grande, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Mesa will challenge Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Rio Grande, they will take on Atrisco Heritage Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
