Volleyball Game Preview: Catalyst-Maria Wolves vs. Tilden Blue Devils

The Catalyst-Maria Wolves are taking a road trip to square off against the Tilden Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Wednesday, Catalyst-Maria didn't have quite enough to beat Simeon and fell 2-1. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Catalyst-Maria started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Tilden can bid farewell to their three-match losing streak thanks to their match on Wednesday. They skirted past Perspectives Leadership/Technology 2-1.

Tilden now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Catalyst-Maria, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Catalyst-Maria came up short against Tilden in their previous matchup back in October of 2023, falling 2-0. Can the Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
