Basketball Recap: Blake Takes a Loss

After flying high against Leto on Tuesday, Blake came back down to earth. The Blake Yellow Jackets received a blow on Wednesday as they fell 68-50 to the East Bay Indians. While losing is never fun, the Yellow Jackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 233rd, while the Indians are ranked 93rd).

Blake now has a losing record at 3-4. As for East Bay, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Blake will face off against Plant at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Bay, they will square off against Spoto at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
