Volleyball Recap: Nipomo Gets the Win

Nipomo won the last time they faced Morro Bay and things went their way on Thursday too. The Titans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pirates, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Titans have posted since October 15, 2024.

Nipomo wouldn't go down easily and took Morro Bay into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 26-28, 18-25, 15-8.

Nipomo has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Morro Bay, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-14 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Nipomo is set to face off against their familiar foe Templeton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Morro Bay will take on rival Atascadero at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
