Winchester Thurston pushed their record up to 7-5 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points per game. As for Bishop Canevin, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Winchester Thurston took a serious blow against Bishop Canevin in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 93-52. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Winchester Thurston was down 64-26.
