They took a 45-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies. Boone was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hagerty apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played two weeks ago.
Several Braves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Victoria DelaCruz, who scored 15 points along with two steals. DelaCruz is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Mckenna Murphy was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Boone and nudges their season record down to 21-5. As for Hagerty, their victory bumped their record up to 15-9.
Boone does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hagerty's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lake Mary at 7:00 p.m. on February 19th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Florida (Hagerty is ranked 76th, while Lake Mary is ranked 51st).
