West Bloomfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 23-8 to the Groves Falcons. On the bright side, the eight- run performance marked the Lakers' highest-scoring game to date.

ADDY MORRIS was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

West Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

Looking ahead, West Bloomfield will challenge Seaholm/Groves at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Groves will be paying especially close attention to the Lakers' contest: after the Lakers face off against the Maples, they'll take on Groves again at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
