Mattanawcook is still undefeated this season after their matchup against Dexter on Friday, but Dexter came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Lynx didn't even let the Tigers on the board, marking the Lynx's second-straight 1-0 shutout. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 1-0 victory on Friday.

The result came thanks to Isaac Ritchie's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up 12 Ks.

At the plate, Mattanawcook's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Avery Jordan, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Ryan Thibodeau also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Mattanawcook's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Dexter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mattanawcook will face off against Stearns at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lynx will need to watch out since the Minutemen have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests. As for Dexter, they will be playing at home against Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Red Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.67 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
