Two dominant signal callers in Timmy Thames and Justice Criniere are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. Atlas HomeSchool has given up an average of 36.9 points per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Atlas HomeSchool didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Tomball Christian HomeSchool to a completion percentage of just 34.8%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from three players: Jake Nitka, Andrew Norman, and Josiah Nadaskay, who each logged two passes deflected. Atlas HomeSchool hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.36 or higher in five consecutive matchups.
Atlas HomeSchool's defensive line didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Maddox Ramsey, Nitka, and Chris Connaughton, who each picked up one sack apiece. Another thorn in Tomball Christian HomeSchool's side was Ramsey, who picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made seven total tackles (3.0 for loss) in addition to snagging an interception.
Meanwhile, Christ Prep Academy strolled into their game last Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They really took it to Lighthouse Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 41-0 victory. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Patriots had established a 35-point advantage.

The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 57 yards. Jackson McGregor also helped out with an impressive 116 receiving yards.
Christ Prep Academy's record now sits at 11-0. As for Atlas HomeSchool, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-8.
Wednesday's contest might be decided on the ground. Atlas HomeSchool has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 182.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Christ Prep Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 167.5 rushing yards. There's a good chance Wednesday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Atlas HomeSchool skirted past Christ Prep Academy 28-26 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Will the Rattlers repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
