Lytle came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Johnson City Eagles, falling 12-2. The Pirates' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lytle saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaycee Galindo, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Lytle's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3-1. As for Johnson City, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Lytle will venture away from home to challenge Blanco at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Johnson City, they will square off against Ingram Moore at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
