Football Recap: Bogalusa Takes a Loss

Bogalusa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 48-6 defeat at the hands of the Amite Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lumberjacks of the 51-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Bogalusa's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Amite, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bogalusa is set to face off against their familiar foe Sumner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Amite will challenge rival Pine at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
