Basketball Game Preview: Chippewa Chipps vs. Waynedale Golden Bears

Chippewa hasn't had much luck against Waynedale recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Chippewa Chipps will be home for the holidays to greet the Waynedale Golden Bears at 7:00 p.m. Chippewa will be strutting in after a victory while Waynedale will be coming in after a defeat.

While Chippewa didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They secured a 52-47 W over Mogadore on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Waynedale came up short against Orrville on Saturday and fell 66-58. While losing is never fun, the Golden Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while the Red Riders are ranked 74th).

Waynedale's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Chippewa, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
