Bridge City has gone 8-2 against Jasper recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cardinals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Friday just wasn't the day for Bridge City's offense. They fell just short of Silsbee by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The shutout was out of character for the Cardinals seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Meanwhile, Jasper also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 10-0 to Groveton on Friday.

Jasper has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11-2 record this season. As for Bridge City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9-1.

Everything went Bridge City's way against Jasper in their previous meeting back in March, as Bridge City made off with a 12-1 win. Do the Cardinals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
