Baseball Recap: James F. Byrnes Comes Up Short

James F. Byrnes lost against Boiling Springs last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. James F. Byrnes fell just short of Boiling Springs by a score of 5-4. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

James F. Byrnes saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Collins, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

James F. Byrnes' defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Boiling Springs, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7.

While James F. Byrnes had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
