Baseball Recap: San Simon Takes a Loss

San Simon is still winless after their game against Valley Union on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-5 on Tuesday.

San Simon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Valley Union, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, San Simon will be taking part in a tournament against Ray at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Valley Union, they will take on Bisbee in a tournament on Friday.
