Volleyball Recap: Gulf Falls to Pasco in First Game of Season

Gulf had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Pasco Pirates. The loss continues a trend for the Buccaneers in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost seven in a row.

While Gulf was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Pasco's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17, 25-21.

The win got Pasco back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gulf will venture away from home to take on Mitchell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pasco, they will head out to face off against Wesley Chapel at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
