Tremont lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Lexington, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's contest. The Turks never let the Minutemen get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Monday. Considering the Turks have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Tremont is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Lexington, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tremont will challenge El Paso-Gridley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Turks are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Lexington, they will square off against Eureka at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hornets will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
