Volleyball Recap: Croswell-Lexington Takes a Loss

Croswell-Lexington was the 2-1 winner over Brown City when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Pioneers fell 2-0 to the Green Devils on Saturday. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Lauren West paced Croswell-Lexington's offense, picking up four kills. West got some help from Amaya Torrez and her nine assists. Gracie Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Croswell-Lexington now has a losing record of 15-16. As for Brown City, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-19 record this season.

Croswell-Lexington will head out on the road to challenge Algonac at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brown City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Capac at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
