Basketball Recap: Fellowship Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Fellowship Christian Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were beaten by Ahoskie Christian 61-16 on Friday. Fellowship Christian Academy was not able to make up for their defeat to Ahoskie Christian from their previous meeting back in January.

Ahoskie Christian found their leader in freshman Damion Walker, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Walker has scored all season. Ian Leary was another key player, going 6-for-10 on his way to 16 points.

Ahoskie Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Coming up, Fellowship Christian Academy will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Mount Calvary Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Fellowship Christian Academy's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Ahoskie Christian, they have already played their next game, a 51-50 loss against Heritage Christian Academy on the 15th.
