Basketball Recap: Jordan Moore Key Part of a Team Effort in Panthers Win

Marengo won the last time they faced Linden and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Marengo Panthers managed a 43-38 win over the Linden Patriots.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Marengo to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Moore, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 14 points along with five assists and five boards. Moore is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. DeVontae Tucker was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 12 boards.

Marengo's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Linden, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marengo will host Johnson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Linden will take on Marion in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
