Basketball Recap: Passaic County Tech Takes a Loss

Passaic County Tech lost against West Milford back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Passaic County Tech Bulldogs took a hard 51-35 fall against the West Milford Highlanders.

Sarah Benowitz had an outrageously good game for West Milford as she went 8 of 18 on her way to 20 points. The dominant performance gave Benowitz a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Amanda O'Brien, who posted eight points and nine rebounds.

Passaic County Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for West Milford, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

The future could be bright for both Passaic County Tech and West Milford: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Passaic County Tech will try to hand Hackensack their third-straight loss when the two meet at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, West Milford will look to extend Wayne Valley's four-game losing streak when the meet at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
