Oswego faced Marist in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Panthers walked away with a 5-1 victory over the RedHawks. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Jaelynn Anthony spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on one hit and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kiyah Chavez, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.
