Burney barely beat CORE Butte the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Raiders were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Lynx on Tuesday. Considering the Raiders have won five matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Aaliyah Perez was incredible, going 1-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. That home run was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Hawkins, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Burney pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for CORE Butte, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.

Coincidentally, Burney and CORE Butte will both be playing Chester the next time they take the field. The Raiders will head out to face the Volcanoes at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Lynx will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
