Basketball Recap: Reed City Comes Up Short

Reed City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Thornapple Kellogg Trojans 66-34. While losing is never fun, the Coyotes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 631st, while the Trojans are ranked 212th).

Reed City's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Thornapple Kellogg, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.

Reed City has already played their next game, a 65-41 defeat against St. Johns on the 4th. As for Thornapple Kellogg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 57-43 victory against Lowell on the 4th.
