Lincoln entered their tilt with Colfax on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Colfax Falcons a 3-0 shutout. The Fighting Zebras might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by three goals or more this season.

Arturo Fuentes and Isaac Guzman scored all three of Lincoln's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 21 goals.

Lincoln has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five games. As for Colfax, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6-1.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, an 8-1 win against Bear River on the 29th. Colfax has also already played their next contest, a 4-2 victory against Marysville on the 28th.
