Basketball Recap: South Sevier Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

South Sevier extended their home winning streak to six games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Brace Brindley. The South Sevier Rams came out on top against the Grantsville Cowboys by a score of 59-51 on Saturday thanks in part to Brindley, who went 8 for 13 on his way to 22 points and eight rebounds. The contest was his third in a row with at least ten points.

When it comes to explaining why Grantsville lost, don't look at Mike Troxel. Despite the final result, he went 6 of 8 on his way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dennis Castagno, who posted nine points.

South Sevier's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Grantsville, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

South Sevier didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 48-38 defeat against Kanab on the 11th. As for Grantsville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 59-56 victory against Tooele on the 11th.
