Recap: New Lexington Panthers vs. Meadowbrook Colts

There's no place like home for the New Lexington Panthers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Wednesday. They blew past Meadowbrook 54-21 at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as New Lexington also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead New Lexington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chloe Dick, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which Dick has scored at least 25% of New Lexington's points. Makenzy McCoy was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.

The win got New Lexington back to even at 3-3. As for Meadowbrook, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Lexington will square off against Morgan at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Meadowbrook, they will head out on the road to face off against West Muskingum at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. West Muskingum's defense has only allowed 26 points per game this season, so Meadowbrook's offense will have their work cut out for Meadowbrook.
