Springtown comes up short despite Esther Balado's dominant performance

Recap: Springtown Porcupines vs. Krum Bobcats
The Springtown Porcupines suffered their biggest loss since December 8, 2023 on Friday. They were dealt a 60-30 loss at the hands of Krum. Springtown has struggled against Krum recently, as their matchup on Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Springtown still got an impressive performance from Esther Balado, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds.
Springtown's loss dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Krum, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 21-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Springtown will square off against Bridgeport at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Bridgeport will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Krum, they will head out on the road to take on Decatur at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Decatur will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
