Volleyball Recap: KIPP Denver Collegiate Comes Up Short

KIPP Denver Collegiate suffered their biggest defeat since April 17, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Gateway Olympians. The contest marked the first time this year in which the White Tigers were not able to get on the board.

While KIPP Denver Collegiate was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 26-24, 25-22.

Sterjay Thomas paced KIPP Denver Collegiate's offense, picking up five kills. Thomas got some help from Nader Adam and his eight assists. Adam was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.
