Volleyball Recap: Carolina International's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Carolina International had to endure a seven-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Carolina International had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-21, 25-11, 25-19.

Carolina International's win bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Coming up, Carolina International is taking a road trip to challenge Piedmont Community Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy, they will face off against North Rowan at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
