Baseball Recap: Heritage Takes a Loss

Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Liberty Christian Bulldogs, falling 18-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pioneers of the 14-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Liberty Christian, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Heritage will take on rival Amherst County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Liberty Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Rustburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
