Crown Point and Bolton Central are an even 4-4 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Panthers will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

Crown Point lost 15-2 to Chazy on April 9th.

Meanwhile, Bolton Central owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They came out on top against Johnsburg Central by a score of 3-0.

Not much got past Jaxon Egloff, who gave up just a hit and racked up ten Ks to keep Johnsburg Central off the board. Egloff has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jacob French was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Hubert, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Everything went Crown Point's way against Bolton Central in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Crown Point made off with a 7-0 win. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
