Football Recap: Legacy College Prep Takes a Loss

Legacy College Prep fell victim to Southlands Christian and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 47-0 defeat at the hands of the Eagles.

Wyatt Kobal had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 113 yards and five TDs on perfect 5-for-5 passing for Southlands Christian. Joshua Valdivia was another key player, picking up 59 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Legacy College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Southlands Christian, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

Coincidentally, Legacy College Prep and Southlands Christian will both be playing Calvary Chapel the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th, while the Lions will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th.
