Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mulvane). They put the hurt on the Augusta Orioles with a sharp 13-3 victory on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Mulvane's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Augusta, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mulvane beat the Orioles by a score of 11-1 later that day.
