Softball Recap: Oak Hill Comes Up Short on the Road Against George Washington

Oak Hill had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the George Washington Patriots on Thursday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 15 in a row.

Oak Hill saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Pomeroy, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. Kennedy King was another, scoring a run and stealing Three bases.

Oak Hill will face off against Capital at 6:00 p.m. on March 21st. As for George Washington, they will take on Midland Trail at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
