Basketball Recap: Antwerp Takes a Loss

Antwerp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost to the Edgerton Bulldogs on the road by a 54-36 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Archers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-38 back in December of 2024.

Antwerp's record is now 4-11. As for Edgerton, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Antwerp will head out to challenge Continental at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Antwerp is facing Continental at the right time seeing as Continental is stuck on a six-game losing streak. Edgerton has already played their next contest (against Stryker), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
