Covington won the last time they faced North Vermillion and things went their way on Thursday too. The Trojans walked away with a 10-6 win over the Falcons. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Covington got a massive performance out of Ashlyn Alexander, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs Alexander has posted since back in April. Taylor Martin was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Covington's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for North Vermillion, they dropped their record down to 2-17 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Covington has already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Attica on the 25th. As for North Vermillion, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-1 victory against Lafayette Central Catholic on the 26th.
