Mission Vista entered their tilt with Granite Hills on Saturday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Eagles. Mission Vista has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Granite Hills, too.

Tristan McDaniel and Max Rice certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. McDaniel had 21 assists and six digs, while Rice had 11 digs. McDaniel is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 21 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Mission Vista's win bumped their record up to 19-12. As for Granite Hills, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 23-10 record.

Mission Vista has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Torrey Pines on the 26th. As for Granite Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Grossmont on the 29th.
