Volleyball Recap: Andrean Has No Trouble Against Munster

Andrean had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Munster on Tuesday. The Fighting 59ers blew past the Mustangs 3-0. The Fighting 59ers haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

While Andrean won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-23, 25-17.

Ryder Marsh paced Andrean's offense, picking up eight kills. Marsh got some help from Trevor Prisby and his 25 assists. Finally, Michael Castillo kept Andrean's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Andrean's win bumped their record up to 23-4. As for Munster, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.
