Arkansas High School Football Rankings

Who's up and who's down

The power rankings have experienced a modest tune-up after last week's playoff battles. Among the action were the efforts of Pulaski Academy's senior Layne Hatcher, an offensive menace who scored six total TDs.

Can't Touch This

Pulaski Academy's 50 - 28 win over Nettleton last week had a lot to do with the leadership of senior Layne Hatcher. Hatcher tossed the ball for 402 yards and five TDs. That performance landed Hatcher among the top power-ranked players for the week.

Next Week's Big Game

The big showdown in the power rankings this week is between Bentonville (2nd in the power rankings) and North Little Rock (1st). Both teams have their heads held high after dominating their previous opponents. North Little Rock and Bentonville both have plenty of landslide victories under their belts (North Little Rock with six and Bentonville with six), but only one can come away triumphant this week. We'll find out who that is soon.
